To support industrial enterprises – industry supporting development, Ho Chi Minh City has implemented many support solutions such as: promulgating the list of key industrial product groups and potential industrial product groups of the city and groups of solutions to support enterprises’ development (in terms of ground, capital, science and technology, human resource training, trade promotion and brand development); in particular, through investment stimulus programs, the City has mobilized social resources (capital, human resources, land, technical – technology) for investment in the development of supporting industries.

Leaders of Ho Chi Minh City said that it has prepared a land fund of more than 300 ha to develop, form and put into operation the “Industrial Park to support the application of high technology” in the coming time; and at the same time develop suitable supporting industrial clusters in Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park. If such an industrial park is formed and high-tech enterprises are gathered into it, it will create a community of industrial enterprises supporting the application of high-tech technology, serving as a basis for developing a strong supporting industry.

Along with that, the City will also have policies to help enterprises prioritize technological change to become a leading enterprise in the field of industrial production supporting and producing high-tech applications; researching more mechanisms and policies on land, tax, customs, procedures, stimulus… to be able to support enterprises with large loans to invest in machinery and equipment for design, production of high-tech products, creating internal resources for enterprises to transform technology and expand the scale of production, contributing to forming a network of industrial producers supporting Vietnam to be competitive, gradually participating in the global supply chain, worthy of the central economic role of the city.
